Air Traffic in China Continued to Improve in June
宏观经济数据分析The number of flights handled by China's major airports improved in June for the fourth consecutive month. The number of flights handled by the Guangzhou's airport increased to 29,189 in June from 24,830 in May and the flights on the Shenzhen's airport improved to 27,300 from 24,623 in May. The flights on Shanghai's Pudong Airport remained relatively stable in June inching up to 24,747 from 24,083, while that on the other airport in Shanghai, Hongqiao, increased to 18,933 in June from 17,140 in May.
The air traffic on the major Chinese airports was significantly affected by the lockdown. In February, the number of flights handled by the Chinese airports dropped to 246,000 in from 879,000 in the previous month.
